Contemporary - With foundations from ballet and jazz, contemporary is an amazing art of storytelling and strong movement that can convey emotion and connect to dancer and audience simultaneously. My class is athletic and we try to engage body, mind and spirit!
About Hannah
My dance background is primarily in jazz, hip hop, musical theater, and contemporary. I graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University with a bachelor's degree in Intercultural Studies and a minor in Theater. I teach for Dance Fit Flow, Kansas City Ballet, and I work as a freelance artist; dancing, choreographing, modeling, and teaching workshops and master classes. I have worked with the tiniest of kiddos through adults and love teaching all ages. I danced with AIM Dance Company, Gurukul classical Indian dance company, That’s Entertainment, Epic Innovative Events, Illuminate Dance Collective, and trained as a commercial dancer in LA. I not only choreograph for my students, but also dance teams, musical theater camps/productions, individuals, video projects, weddings, freelance performances, fundraisers, etc. One of my favorite teaching opportunities is volunteer teaching throughout the city. “There is no other avenue in which I can express, inspire, and be inspired as there is with dance: it is my passion, energy, challenge, and release.”
I am also a holistic health coach and have an office at Olathe Holistic Health and Wellness. I’m a wife to my hottie hubs, and a momma to our two wild babes. We love going on adventures, continuing to visit LA, rock climbing, camping, and having dance parties!

about sadie
I was kicked out of gymnastics at the age of 3 because I wouldn't stay on my carpet square. My parents crossed their fingers and put me in my first dance class. They gave me tap shoes and it was love at first step. I’ve trained in a variety of styles, but tap is my absolute favorite. Who doesn't love making noise with their feet?! I grew up dancing competitively in the Kansas City area and I graduated from University of Saint Mary with a bachelor’s degree in Theater. Outside of teaching in a classroom I’ve choregraphed for local community theatre productions, high school/college dance teams, fundraisers, weddings and co-founded summer theatre programs. I feel blessed to be a part of the DFF community!
By day I’m an event coordinator for Nebraska Furniture Mart and enjoy working on projects that involve the community. When I’m not dancing or planning events you can find me spending all my money on books, loving on my old man pit bull, and having board game nights with my family.

ABOUT jake
From competitive swimming lanes to dance club reigns, my fitness journey started in the pool and found its rhythm on the dance floor (where I perfected my signature moves). Now I channel that athletic background and natural groove into creating dynamic fitness classes that prove you don't need a formal dance background to lead an energizing workout - just a passion for movement and a killer playlist.
When I'm not leading classes at Dance Fit Flow, I'm shaping young minds in education by day and experimenting in the kitchen by night (balancing out those workouts with new recipes!). You can usually find me planning my next workout, binge-watching Great British Bake Off, or testing out healthy recipes that fuel both body and mind.
